In this episode of Seeking True Love, I’m joined by coach Alicia Grantham of Lavender and Lemons Coaching to talk about something so many heart-led women quietly struggle with: 👉 What if I want it all—true love, kids, and a fulfilling career—and it’s “too much”? 👉 And what if love is the dream that keeps getting shoved to the bottom of the drawer? Alicia works with ambitious, full-time working moms who feel like they’ve checked all the boxes… and still don’t feel deeply fulfilled. Together, we explore how easy it is—especially for sensitive, high-achieving women and moms—to sacrifice our romantic dreams in the name of being “responsible,” “independent,” or a “good mom.” We also unpack the cultural messages that say wanting true love is “needy” or “desperate,” and why your longing for partnership is actually a valid, deeply human dream—not something to be ashamed of or push away.

Alicia Grantham is a wife, mom of two, dog mom to a lively Labradoodle, and the founder of Lavender and Lemons Coaching. After more than a decade climbing the corporate ladder as a CPA, she realized that checking all the boxes still left her unfulfilled. She traded survival mode for a life fueled by purpose, freedom, and joy.
Now she helps ambitious full-time working moms reconnect with who they are beyond “employee” and “mom,” reignite the dreams they’ve put on the back burner, and take bold steps toward a life they genuinely love. She’s living proof that you can pack the lunchbox, crush it at work, and chase your big dreams.
